Good Hart Market Days

Contemporary Expressions Jewelry & Accessory Show

Barb Jackson of Contemporary Expressions has been offering her unique collection of jewelry, accessories, handbags and inventive gift ideas to groups and individuals for several years. Each year she expands her collection to represent the most fashion forward designer and looks in the country. All merchandise is located in the main lobby of The Inn at Bay Harbor.

Hours on Thursday, Noon to 7 pm and Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm.

Benefit Antiques Sale at Shay House
August 7th, 2010

Historic Shay House, generously provided to the HSAHS for the day by owner Mary Cay Jones, will be a lovely setting for vintage collectibles or antiques in a “Benefit Antiques Sale” on Saturday, August 7. Those who want to part with some of their collections in the decorative arts and benefit the Museum at the same time may showcase them at the Shay House from 10 am until 3pm.

Profits from the sale of these treasures from bygone eras will be shared equally by the seller and the Museum. There is a fee of $30 for non-members (the fee is waived for HSAHS members) and participants should provide their own table. No retailers please. Call or email the Museum to reserve a space or for additional information.

Ghastly Mackinac

Over 115 years of death, disease, and deranged discipline have left its eerie marks within this stone fortress, leaving behind stories of truth that are much stranger than fiction. Feel the chill of fall air winding down your spine while touring the very places where it all happened nearly 200 years before. Family - $30, Adult - $10, Youth (5-17) - $5, Children 4 & under and Mackinac Associates above Heritage level – Free. All admission tickets for this event are pre-sold through the Mackinac Island Visitor's Center and Fort Mackinac admission booths. No tickets will be sold at the event.

Jaeger's Battalion of Roger's Rangers Encampment
August 7th - 8th, 2010

French & Indian War hero Robert Rogers battalion of Rogers Rangers will once again visit our site. These re-enactors will display their knowledge of the tactics and history of this famous unit of frontier fighters, as well as demonstrations of camp life. No additional admission charge for this special event above standard Colonial Michilimackinac admission rates.
